the woes of 3rd trimester

I am really starting to feel all the "misery" of 3rd trimester. It has been going quite awhile, but today is the worse!

I can feel that my tummy is very heavy, and there is a pulling sensation of my baby every now and then. I have to walk very slowly now... I get aches on my back and shoulder... i guess it is because i can't sleep flat on my back anymore...I can only sleep on some positions... and while i am typing this, i having abit of headache... though i am not sure whether is it due to the pregnancy.

I can't carry any heavy stuff anymore... i feel quite bad just carrying Dec issue of HER WORLD with my own bag...

Hope today is just the exceptional case.

Vernon is weighing at 1.3kg at 30 weeks

Now, i am eating bird nest while writing this entry. I have been eating bird nest consistently every other week, hoping that my baby's skin will be fair and rosy.

Went to Dr Ang yesterday for a routine check, and he checks that Baby is weighing at 1.3kg which is ok. However, his mummy is gaining 3 kg more again. sigh, have been gaining 3 kg each per month for the last 3 months already. This month, i have make conscious effort not to eat too much, but still.... hope it all goes to the water bag. : ) In total, I have gained 13kg.

My baby's head is still facing downwards which is a good sign. Dr ang asked me to be prepared for labour pain and ask me to think about it everyday. He says it is extremely [x10] painful... sigh... and he says that 90% of the patients don't use epidural because of the side effects (and probably it costs $600)....

I am still undecided whether to go for epidural anot... And now, I hope that my baby will not be too big that i have to go for cesarean that is costly.

New Baby Room

Finally, my baby's room is starting to take shape. We went to Ikea to bought a baby cot, changing table, wardrobe, and sofa bed for our future maid. Below are the photos. Not fully in place yet as my hubby yet to decide how to arrange the furniture and also that it is not fully completed for the fact he can't drill in the knob and into the wall.. sigh...



Oh, I also going to put some cute wall border in the white side of the rooms and we bought alot of colourful photo frames from Ikea as well. So hopefully, with these decor and the white furniture, it will be a cosy room for my baby.

Just hope that everything will be complete soon rather than in pieces. Oh no, it is time to start buying all the things... the list goes very long.....
