Inquisitive Boy... Not Inquisitive Monk yet

My little boy did not become a little monk (did not shave his head and eyebrow= supposed to help in growing nicer hair in the future) because there is one lump at his skull. Lumpy and soft, seems to have fluid inside. Nobody really knows what is it, and why is it there, even 2 doctors. However, the best guess that the 2 doctors gave is due to the fact that he is vacummed out. It probably be a healing bruise... very common for a few weeks vacummed baby, but not close to 2 months... but luckily, after 1 week, his head is back to normal.

But i guess we will postpone the symbolic cut to his 3rd month bday... :p

My little boy is also very explorative. His eyes will be searching around, looking around for new things... especially when we are out. During an outing yesterday to Robinsons Centrepoint, he kept himself awake though it probably should be his sleeping time... inquisitive boy i must say. Thus, i decided to expose him to books now...even if it doesn't develop his cognitive thinking, i felt that it will at least develop his liking for books... hehehe..

I went to National Library to borrow some baby books just to show him the pictures, makes some simple notes about the picture.... He really seems to enjoy a particular book, "Old Macdonald"(which it is the song, Old Macdonald had a farm......had a pig, etc)...He keeps staring at it, and will make "coo" sound asking you to flip the book... and he really like it. HOwever, he doesn't have much reaction to another 2 baby books i showed him...

Cute right, little baby at the young age of 0 years and 2months also have preferences and liking...

7 weeks plus..... that fast....

Baby Vernon is still waking up every 3 hours every night, despite the fact that he doesn't sleep in the day till about 6pm. We are really exhausted everyday. When will he starts to hold his stomach better???

Now, he really smiles more and can hold small items in his hands for rather long time. Great Achivement! bravo!! now, i am waiting for him to hold up his head well....

Next week, he will go through 2 big things in his life - Vacinnation injection and shaving of first hair and eyebrows.... he will be a cute little monk soon....

Just some photos to show how cute my little son is, though he is a tyrant when he is not happy. Crying non-stop to be carried to sleep; Crying outloud when you try to change him; Crying when he wants you to entertain him.... whatever, just enjoy the photos...my personal favourite...

Taken on 09 feb , 02 Mar then 03 Mar respectively-

Baby can start recognising things....

My cute little boy has recovered.... Now, he is giving problems to all the care-giver...:p... a signs of recovery. My boy is so unpredictable. Everyday is different. He can sleep most of the days on one day, and stay awake throughout the day the next days.... He can be cranky, crying for attention one day, and he can self-entertain himself by practising his kungfu on his own.... Sometimes, both andy and I really don't know what to do with him.

It has been 5 weeks, I have started bringing him out, though not very adventurous yet. Mostly to his granny place, by passing the park. Another time to Orchard Tangs and Ikea!!!! He doesn't know much, i guess....He has become a rather dark baby, just like louis koo..(don't laugh)... not sure why though as he was not exposed to sunlight at all.... I guess all the Bird nest during pregnancy did not really help in giving him a fair skin afterall...

Now at 5 weeks plus, my baby has started to recognise people... and of course me.. he will gaze at me and his eyes will move with me... it feels so good...Somtimes, he will smile back at you when you talk to him..... Once in a while, he make small throaty sounds or short vowel sounds like "oo", "yo".... so cute.... waiting for the next development
